On April 18, 2025, a workshop on rare diseases in pediatric neurology was held in Almaty. The event brought together regional specialists to discuss the diagnosis and treatment of rare neurological conditions in children.

The program covered topics such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy and alpha-mannosidosis (AM), with a focus on clinical manifestations, diagnostic algorithms, and modern therapeutic approaches.

Particular interest was sparked by the clinical case studies, which allowed participants to apply their newly acquired knowledge in practice.

The event was held in the format of open professional dialogue. Participants gained valuable knowledge and practical skills that will be useful in their daily work with patients suffering from rare diseases.
