On January 15, 2025, a lecture on the topic "Alpha-Mannosidosis: Etiology, Pathogenesis, Diagnosis, and Treatment" was held at City Polyclinic No. 4 in Astana.

This event was organized to familiarize medical professionals with the characteristics of this rare genetic disorder, its development mechanisms, diagnostic methods, and modern treatment approaches. During the lecture, relevant clinical cases were presented, the possibilities of early disease detection were discussed, as well as prospects for therapy and rehabilitation of patients with Alpha-Mannosidosis.

The lecture generated great interest among participants and contributed to increasing doctors’ awareness of the disease, which, in turn, will help improve diagnosis and timely medical care for patients.
