The international “Ana Men Bala” conference, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Nina Amirovna Kopylova — an outstanding specialist and one of the pioneers in the development of obstetrics and gynecology in Kazakhstan — was held at Scientific Center of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology.

The event brought together leading experts, physicians, and representatives of the medical community to discuss current issues in maternal and child healthcare, as well as modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of rare diseases.

As part of the conference, Assel Kairatovna Tulebayeva delivered a lecture on alpha-mannosidosis. The presentation covered early diagnosis, clinical manifestations, and modern management approaches for patients with this rare genetic disorder.

The conference became an important platform for professional knowledge exchange, strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration, and increasing awareness of rare genetic diseases among healthcare professionals.
