In the capital city, a memorandum of understanding and cooperation was signed between the Salidat Kairbekova National Research Center for Health Development (NRCHD)under the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Union of Legal Entities "Association for the Development and Support of Pharmaceutical Innovations in Healthcare (InnPharma)".
The memorandum was signed by Gulnara Kulkayeva, Chairwoman of the NRCHD Board, and Farrukh Babashov, Chairman of the InnPharma Association.
The memorandum is aimed at developing systematic collaboration between the parties in the field of Health Technology Assessment (HTA), improving patients' access to innovative therapies, and promoting the principles of value-based and personalized medicine in Kazakhstan.
The parties agreed to cooperate in several key areas, including:
- Analysis of public pharmaceutical provision;
- Development of proposals to improve the regulatory framework;
- Preparation of analytical materials and recommendations for the healthcare system;
- Joint organization of conferences, seminars, forums, and round tables.
The signing of this agreement represents an important step towards integrating scientific expertise and the efforts of civil society in addressing strategic challenges within the healthcare sector.
