On January 24, 2025, a meeting of the Kazakh National Scientific Association: Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery was held in Karaganda. The event took place at the Cosmonaut Hotel with the support of Bionorica and LLP Pharm&Access. During the meeting, the results of the work of regional ENT departments for 2024 were summarized.

One of the key presentations was a lecture by E.Y. Seredkina on “Alpha-Mannosidosis: Etiology, Pathogenesis, Diagnosis, and Treatment,” which covered modern methods for detecting and treating this rare genetic disorder.The meeting served as an important platform for experience exchange, discussion of current issues, and the introduction of new approaches in the field of otorhinolaryngology.
